What does it mean when my stereo cassette drawers open by themselves? is this a ghost that wants to harm me?

when ever me and my boyfriend go out the house when we get home we always find that our stereo cassette drawer has been opened (always the left one) and our dvds in the dvd rack are turnt sideways. this is one thing that bugs me so i always check and make sure they are in neatly. i was in the flat on my own about a month ago and the cupboard door opened i heard a bang and everything was on the floor bearing in mind this is a hard door to open its very stiff. i have been told it could be a traveller ghost and will go out of our flat when it is ready with someone else. and that if i am that bothered by it i need to talk to it as it will get worse all the time im not ignoligin it. i dont want to do this as my grandad died last year whom i was very close to and im hoping it is him showing us signs that he is still with us. we have not been visically harmed by this its just getting a little scary. i cant find anything on the net about this so could you please shed some light on this for me please. thanks.
